Soft tissue rehabilitation and joint mobility optimization

Graston Technique® Therapy

What is Graston Technique® (GT)?

It is a form of manual therapy that uses a non-invasive method to mobilize soft tissue structures such as muscles, tendon or ligaments by using an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

A non-invasive, cost-effective and readily available intervention.

There is an increasing prevalence of pain and disability associated with musculoskeletal impairments. Musculoskeletal disorders are common, affecting approximately 100 million adults in the US per year.

Graston Technique® Benefits:

  • Impact speed of recovery
  • Tissue regeneration
  • Range of motion improved

Recover from an injury or maintain optimal health with:

  • Spinal and extremity manipulations
  • Graston Technique®
  • Physical Therapy

Graston Technique® therapy works best in conjunction with physical therapy and strength/flexibility training.

GT® therapy is being used by 18 NFL teams, 16 NBA teams and 16 MLB teams to help athletes with mobility, recovery and reduce pain.

IASTM Graston Technique® has treated dancers with injuries due to chronic overuse dance injuries as well as athletes and non-athletes to improve their hamstring flexibility.

IASTM Graston Technique® Therapy treats both acute and chronic conditions:

Achilles Tendonitis/osis (ankle sprain)

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (wrist pain)

Cervical Sprain/Strain (neck pain)

Lateral Epicondylitis/osis (tennis elbow)

Lumbar Sprain/Strain (low back pain)

Medial Epicondylitis/osis (golfer's elbow)

Patellofemoral disorders (knee pain)

Plantar fasciitis/osis (foot pain)

Postural strain/sprain (mid-back pain)

Rotator cuff tendonitis/osis (shoulder pain)

Scar tissue

Shin splints

Trigger finger
